It's my new favourite breakfast. Everyday on holiday I'd have this with a topping or just plain. Of course in the real world its known as Bircher Muesli, but at home its now known as Nitro Muesli thanks to Mr H.
Ingredients
1 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup Apple Juice
1 cup Skimmed Milk
1/2 cup Fat Free Greek Yoghurt
1 Grated Apple (sprinkle with a little lemon juice to stop it discolouring)
Method
Mix together and leave in the fridge overnight. In the morning add topping of choice or eat it plain. Strawberries and flaked almonds are my favourite right now.
The above makes more than enough for a small family. For a single serving use the following quantities...
30g Rolled Oats
50ml Apple Juice
50ml Skimmed Milk
>1 tbsp Fat Free Greek Yoghurt (add enough to make it creamy)
1 Grated Apple (sprinkle with a little lemon juice to stop it discolouring)
